But perhaps what’s more important is ensuring your existing diverse talent is successful, says Katica Roy, CEO of Pipeline, a software company that helps employers manage their workforce and make hiring, pay, promotions and performance reviews more inclusive. Her company’s technology is designed to, in return, help companies improve their economics, in part by eliminating biases and in balances in how they measure and reward worker performance. One of the company’s largest clients is SendGrid.
“We know from research that if you focus on the talent you have, prospects pick up on that and you can build that more diverse pipeline,” she said.
